Räikkönen to stay at Ferrari for 2016 season

Kimi Räikkönen has been confirm for Ferrari Formula 1 team to race for the 2016 next season, alongside with Sebastian Vettel.


After a lot of speculation surrounding with many drivers “On the chases” for that place in Ferrari, the Italian squad decided to re-sign Kimi Räikkönen, who re-joined the team last year.

Nico Hulkenberg, Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo, Daniil Kvyat and specially Valtteri Bottas – who some specialist said He was the key of the drivers “mercato”, have been linked with that seat over the past months.

The team mate of Vettel who has won in two grand prix this season, often beat Räikkönen who continues as Ferrari last champion, back to 2007 season when he won over Lewis Hamilton by one single point.
