AccuSim becomes Official Technical Partner of BMW M Motorsport for motorsport simulation.
Oxfordshire, UK – February 17, 2025 – AccuSim is thrilled to announce an official technical partnership with BMW M Motorsport, one of the most respected names in global motorsport racing. As part of this multi-year collaboration, BMW M Motorsport has chosen AccuSim’s Trident Genesis Motion Platform to elevate their LMDh and GT motorsport simulator capabilities, showcasing AccuSim’s expertise in delivering high-performance, advanced simulation technology.
In addition to the integration of the Trident Genesis Motion Platform, BMW M Motorsport will be using AccuSim’s new ground-breaking AccuVision LED display with the new simulator. The AccuSim logo will also proudly feature on BMW M Motorsport’s DTM, IGTC and GT3 cars throughout the partnership, highlighting the strong collaboration between the two organisations, on and off the track.
The Trident Genesis Motion Platform sets new standards for precision and responsiveness in motorsport simulation, offering 6 degrees of freedom, ultra-low latency, and a compact design that fits seamlessly into BMW’s existing infrastructure on the first floor.
The short lead time of the Trident Genesis Motion Platform means that BMW M Motorsport’s installation is scheduled for mid-2025, demonstrating AccuSim’s ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions within a highly efficient timeframe.

BMW M Motorsport selected the Trident Genesis platform for its unique blend of technical excellence, compact design, and cost-effectiveness. Erik Schuivens, Head of Vehicle Performance and Simulation at BMW M Motorsport, explained:
“Our primary goal for the new simulator was to significantly improve latency, bandwidth, and achieve the full 6 degrees of freedom required for high-fidelity motorsport simulation. However, there were several additional factors critical to our decision-making process. The simulator’s footprint had to be compact enough to integrate seamlessly into our existing infrastructure, as motorsport simulators typically demand a smaller motion envelope compared to automotive counterparts. This approach enabled us to prioritise precision and functionality while avoiding the significant expense of constructing a larger facility to accommodate the simulator. Cost efficiency was also a critical factor, ensuring our investment not only meets the highest technical standards but also provides outstanding value for our program for many years to come.”
