Jack Aitken will start the first race of the 2017 season from pole ahead of Nirei Fukuzumi and Dorian Boccolacci.
Boccolacci was on provisional pole after everyone’s first attempt. One tenth behind him was Fukuzumi, followed by Aitken, Russell and Alesi, who blocked Falchero in a very dangerous way.
Aitken bounced back and got his first ever GP3 pole. Fukuzumi and Boccolacci were 2nd and 3rd less than a tenth behind Aitken. Russell, Pulcini, Maini, Alesi, Lorandi, Siebert and Hubert completed the top 10.
