Dani Pedrosa set the fastest time of the second day of Sepang testing.

The Spaniard improved his time from yesterday in more than a second and finished with a time of 2’00.039. Open bike rider Aleix Espargaro was three tenths behind his compatriot. Alvaro Bautista was third, half a second away from the first place.
Valentino Rossi was fourth, followed by Andrea Dovizioso, Stefan Bradl and Cal Cruthclow. Pol Espargaro finished eighth, right ahead Jorge Lorenzo, who struggled with the tyres. The top ten was completed by Bradley Smith.
