Parker Kligerman will not participate in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race this Thursday at the Bristol Motor Speedway due to an illness that keeps him out of competition. This absence also prevented him from being part of the The CW broadcast last weekend at Gateway.
Kligerman was scheduled to drive the number 75 vehicle for Henderson Motorsports, in what would be his 130th participation in the truck category and the fifth of 2026. The driver has three victories in the series, including a controversial win in the 2025 season opener at Daytona, which was later overturned due to a disqualification.
His place will be taken by Nick Sanchez, who has been a full-time competitor in the category in 2023 and 2024, achieving two victories and finishing fifth in the overall standings. Sanchez, 25, will thus compete in his 49th race in the truck series, with three previous participations in Bristol and a best result of fifth.
In statements, Kligerman remarked: ‘I won’t be able to race in Bristol. I have felt unwell over the last week and the recovery has been slower than I expected. I am improving every day, but I am not well enough to compete and with the broadcast tomorrow, I thought it was best to take a break. Nick will do a great job with the 75.’
