Pato O’Ward (Team Pelfrey) with twenty-two laps was the fastest in the unique practice session of Indy Lights before the first classification this evening. Behind him finished runner-up of 2016, Santi Urrutia (Belardi Auto Racing) just 0.0243 seconds.
Also close to the fastest lap time, finished the newcomer from the european categories, Colton Herta (Andretti) only 0.0361 seconds slower than O’Ward. Complete the top five Nico Jamin and Dalton Kellett.
