Ocon has a cameo in French comedy movie on Netflix

Esteban Ocon has a cameo role in French movie ‘Lune de miel avec ma mere’ on Netflix after he featured in the trailer of the same.

In a news which slipped through everyone eyes whether last year or at the onset of 2025, Haas F1 driver Ocon featured in the trailer of a comedy French movie titled ‘Lune de miel avec ma mere’, which translates to ‘Honeymoon with my…mother!’.

The movie is to air on Netflix on February 12, 2025 and the trailer was uploaded on its French channel two days back. It shows Ocon for a brief moment as he seemingly plays the role of the ex-boyfriend of the girl who dumps the lead character on their wedding day.

The lead character then has to complete his honeymoon with his mother which is the base story of the movie. While IMDb is yet to credit Ocon in any role, French website Allocine has mentioned the French F1 driver in the character page list.

Ocon joins a relatively small list of F1 drivers to feature in a movie outside documentaries. A lot of the current grand prix drivers are likely to feature as themselves in the upcoming movie – co-produced by Lewis Hamilton – which is titled ‘F1’.
