Nyck De Vries stayed in front all the race along in Spa Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS, with Matevos Isaakyan touching his exhaust. Leclerc was third.
Nyck De Vries left Belgium last week not happy at all after not have succeeded as he expected to do in Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. But yesterday, after setting double pole position, decided that this time he would make it a victory. And after Isaakyan being chasing him so near, he did not lose the first position in any moment.
It is a pity that organisation failed at live streaming because we all wonder how that battle was. And we also wonder about the first lap accident, which caused Safety Car and Capitanio, Owens and Barnicoat retiring. Four laps before the end of the race, Allen and Fittipaldi retired. Frustrating for the last one as he was P10 in his debut race. During last lap, Gachet, who was fighting with Leclerc for P3 had an accident in Eau Rouge. An amazing last lap with Semen Evstigneev driving too aggressively and being the last one to retire.
After such a close race, tomorrow at 10:30 am is the second one. Seems to be interesting with Nyck De Vries again in pole and Isaakyan also second.
