Norris takes another pole position in Eurocup

Lando Norris has taken another pole positon, his fifth in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 at Spa-Francorchamps. The Briton beat by a small margin, Dorian Boccolacci –second and the local hero Max Defourny.

The qualifying session started on delay. Despite the delay the drivers didn’t get many rush to join the track. It wasn’t until 12 minutes remaining when everybody joined the track. James Allen (JD Motorsport) was the first to set a lap time in 2:21.972.

Immediately, the championship leaders arrived with Lando Norris (Josef Kaufmann Racing) leading in front Max Defourny (R-ace GP) who was the fastest in the yesterday practice sessions.

In the next flying lap the R-ace GP driver took the lead ahead of his team mate Will Palmer, but the laps continued improving, and the Norris showed his potential taking the pole position by 0.083 seconds over Dorian Boccolacci (Tech 1 Racing) and 0.141 seconds over Defourny.
