Nakamura wins last-minute in the reverse grid race of GB3 at Silverstone

The Hitech GP driver, Jin Nakamura, has achieved an intense victory in the last race of the GB3 weekend held at Silverstone. Nakamura surpassed his competitors in an exciting duel during the final lap, which proved to be decisive.

Although Jackes led almost the entire race, he ultimately had to settle for third position, finishing behind his teammate Kyuho Lee. Jackes had started the race from the reversed pole and, after a good start, managed an initial lead of 2.4 seconds.

After surpassing the Velocity Racing Development driver, Rodrigo Gonzalez, Nakamura had a promising start but was overtaken by Lucas Fluxa from Xcel Motorsport, who fell to fourth position after running out of space at Stowe.

The key moment came when the safety car was deployed due to a stoppage by Peter Bouzinelos from Hillspeed. The race was reactivated with three laps to go when the safety car entered the pits. Jackes maintained the lead, but Nakamura prepared an aggressive overtaking move on the last lap.

In the final stretch, Jackes defended his position at Vale, but Nakamura took advantage of the acceleration and DRS to position himself on the inside on the straight, overtaking Jackes at Brooklands. Lee also made his move and managed to pass Jackes, consolidating an exciting finish where the three drivers crossed the finish line very closely together.

Fluxa completed the race in fourth position, followed by Bedrin, who climbed from twelfth to fifth. Gonzalez crossed in sixth position, while Campbell-Pilling and the Rodin drivers, Maxim Rehm and Abbi Pulling, rounded out the top ten positions.
