Marc Marquez was sublime in MotoGP win in Czech GP, ahead of Marco Bezzecchi, as Pedro Acosta held onto third.

It was a clean start on a sunny day in MotoGP race in Czech GP at Brno, where Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia led the way but was overtake by Marc Marquez soon. However, he came back on M Marquez to retake the lead, as Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi was up to second from the second row.

A wide moment for Bagnaia allowed Bezzecchi to take the lead on Lap 2, with M Marquez following suit. Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo was fourth from KTM’s Pedro Acosta, with Gresini Ducati’s Alex Marquez and Honda’s Joan Mir having a better start in sixth and seventh.

They were followed by Trackhouse Aprilia’s Raul Fernandez, Pramac Yamaha’s Jack Miller and Aprilia’s Jorge Martin in the Top 10. But the places behind the Top 3 changed hands pretty quickly. Acosta cleared Quartararo first, who came under pressure from Tech 3 KTM’s Enea Bastianini soon.

The Italian cleared the likes of Martin and Miller first and got onto Quartararo’s tail after a crash for A Marquez and Mir. The Gresini rider tried an inside move but lost control to slide out, taking the Honda rider together, in yet another retirement for the Spaniard.

Bastianini was sixth from Fernandez, as Martin managed to clear Miller for eighth. KTM’s Brad Binder was up to 10th after clearing LCR Honda’s Johann Zarco in 11th, from Honda’s Luca Marini, Gresini’s Fermin Aldeguer, Yamaha’s Alex Rins and Tech 3’s Pol Espargaro in the Top 15 points places.

At the front, Bezzecchi held onto the lead but M Marquez was close behind. He eventually made the move on Lap 7 to retake the MotoGP lead in Czech GP. Acosta passed Bagnaia for third, who was picked up by Bastianini as well, after he cleared Quartararo a lap before.

But Bastianini’s charge ended after a crash where he lost the rear. Bagnaia was fourth again from Fernandez, who passed Quartararo. It was Martin in seventh from Miller, Binder and Zarco in the Top 10. But the Frenchman couldn’t hung on for long after Aldeguer’s charge.

M Marquez in the front was untouchable. Bezzecchi came under small pressure from Acosta, but managed to clear him off, who was caught by Bagnaia in the process. Fernandez was a distant fifth from Quartararo and Martin, but Miller in eighth was closely chased by Binder.

Aldeguer was not far off in 10th, as Espargaro cleared Marini for 11th, with Zarco 13th from Trackhouse’s Ai Ogura and Rins in the Top 15 points places, with five laps remaining. It was sublime from M Marquez to win MotoGP in Czech GP – his fifth consecutive win of 2025 season.

Bezzecchi was second from Acosta, who held off Bagnaia by a close margin to retain the podium place. Fernandez was a fine fifth from Quartararo, as Martin ended up a solid seventh on his MotoGP return. Aldeguer cleared both Miller and Binder to eighth, with Binder in ninth.

Miller dropped to 11th after Espargaro passed him on final lap to 10th. Marini was 12th from Zarco, Ogura and Rins in the Top 15 points places, with VR46 Ducati’s Fabio di Giannantonio only managing 16th ahead of Yamaha wildcard Augusto Fernandez.

After the race, Aldeguer was handed a 3-place grid drop for not complying with Long Gap Penalty. As a result, he dropped to 11th which allowed Binder to be eighth from Espargaro and Miller in the Top 10.
