MissionH24 presents new hydrogen electric prototype

MissionH24 has presented a brand new hydrogen electric prototype as the aim to create a hydrogen class to compete in WEC and Le Mans 24 Hours.

MissionH24, a collaborative project between the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and H24Project, has today presented a brand-new hydrogen electric prototype. The objective is clear: to create a hydrogen class in the FIA World Endurance Championship including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

After introducing hydrogen on the track, MissionH24 is now introducing hydrogen in competition, for a race with zero CO2 emissions. The essential functions have already been tried and tested in the LMPH2G and H24.

Key Milestones

March 2024: General design finalised

June 2024: Mock-up

From October 2024: Power unit assembly, bench-testing

From January 2025: Car assembly, first circuit tests
