Red Bull’s Sergio Perez was fastest in F1 Miami GP with teammate Max Verstappen third behind Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.

The FP3 in F1 Miami GP was still a bit messy as lack of grip continued to haunt multiple drivers. There was a red flag for Alpine’s Esteban Ocon at Turn 14 while Haas’ Kevin Magnussen and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen having separate spins.

Others suffered grip issues as Red Bull’s Perez setting the pace with a 1m30.304s lap from Ferrari’s Leclerc (1m30.498s) and Red Bull’s Verstappen (1m30.649s). The Dutchman was on a quick lap when he spun after riding over the kerb a bit too much.

Late improvements saw Alpine’s Fernando Alonso (1m31.036s) jump to fourth from Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel (1m31.049s) and Haas’ Mick Schumacher (1m31.050s) as Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz (1m31.172s) was seventh as he took a bit slow after FP2 incident.

Haas’ Magnussen (1m31.227s) ended up eighth with Williams’ Alexander Albon (1m31.501s) doing well in ninth and McLaren’s Lando Norris (1m31.594s) rounding the Top 10. AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda was 11th from Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll.

McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo ended up 13th from Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas who did an early quick lap as did the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell in 15th and 17th with AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly in 16th as he continued to struggle.

Alfa Romeo’s Guanyu Zhou ended up 18th from Williams’ Nicholas Latifi with Ocon unable to set any lap.
