British driver Megan Bruce has secured a spot in the F1 Academy for the 2026 season with TAG Heuer and Campos Racing. This news comes after her participation in the elite vehicle competition in 2025, when she made her category debut in Singapore.
At just 21 years old, Bruce has experienced a rapid rise in the world of motorsport, having started her career just three years ago. Her first competitive experience was at the Caterham Academy, where she achieved her first podium in five races. Subsequently, she competed in the Caterham 270R Championship.
In 2024, Bruce made the leap to single-seaters with her participation in the GB4 Championship, where she achieved nine finishes in the top ten. She says she is very excited to join TAG Heuer and Campos Racing. “I am really looking forward to starting this new chapter in my career. TAG Heuer is a recognized name in the motorsport world, and this makes me feel honored,” Bruce stated.
The driver has also gained more experience recently, participating in the first rookie test of the F1 Academy and in the F4 Saudi Arabian Championship. On her social media, she has expressed her excitement to represent TAG Heuer and her gratitude to everyone who has contributed to her development as a driver.
Bruce began her motorsport career with a project to build a vehicle for the Caterham Academy and now has the opportunity to compete alongside prominent names in F1. “The testing experience in Shanghai has been incredible, and I am very excited about what 2026 has in store for us,” Bruce concluded, eager to tackle new challenges and continue learning on the track.
