Belgian driver Max Defourny announced today that he will continue with R-Ace GP in Formula Renault 2.0 for a third season.

Max Defourny arrived in single-seaters in 2014 in French F4 where he only collected one podium. On the same year, he committed himself to the Formula Renault 1.6 NEC championship, where he claimed 3 podiums.

The following year, he graduated to Formula Renault 2.0 – a car that the Belgian driver likes a lot- with R-Ace GP, team with whom he won the rookie championship in NEC with two victories, four podiums and one pole position.

In 2016, he continued with the La Rochelle illustrating himself both in NEC and in Eurocup against Lando Norris. Unfortunately, due to a frustrating end of the season, he respectively finished 2nd and 3rd of the championships.

After testing in GP3 and Formula V8, Defourny preferred remaining with the French team in Eurocup, where he will carry the weight of title favourite on a grid already announced as competitive.
