Marc Márquez takes the pole position in the Jerez Circuit for the Spanish MotoGP GP after achieve a different tyres strategy during the qualifying. Lorenzo finished second and Pedrosa third.
The Q1 as always decide the two drivers who were going to enter in Q2. After a Hayden and Redding had got early first positions, the British driver had crashed and lost all his options to get the access to Q2. Bautista at mid of the session up’s to P1 with Crutchlow 2nd. Finally with 2 minutes to go Hayden took the top and got the access to Q2 with Bautista.
Just started the Q2 Lorenzo took the top position followed by Márquez and Pedrosa. Márquez made a different tyre strategy and when everyone have stpped to change his tyres at mid of the session, the Catalan did this with only 3 minutes to go, having the tyres in best condition than anyone, the Repsol Honda driver have got the pole position in Jerez, circuit where he never won.
