Marquez flies to the pole in Germany

Marc Marquez has taken pole at Sachsenring, beating the record of Stoner, while his teammate Dani Pedrosa has finished second, followed by Stefan Bradl.

The Q1 started with all riders on track to set the fastest time, sunny weather with optimal conditions for the asphalt in Sachsenring. As time progressed, the top positions were changing, until finally the one that has remained above was Cal Crutchlow.

With eight minutes left, the pilots entered the box to change tyres. Crutchlow and Dovisioso were in the highest positions. With three minutes a surprising Hernandez strikes with the best time. Crutchlow falls and Hayden gets in the first place. Therefore, both faster were Dovisioso and Hayden while Hernandez is seven milliseconds away.

In Q2 Espargaró was the first to set the fastest time, then he would be followed by Bradl. Currently Pedrosa was who remained in first position. All drivers changed tyres to find better times.

In three minutes, Smith went to the ground unable to continue, a similar to that fall of Crutchlowl. Also Dani Pedrosa fell and had to leave while his teammate got in the first position. It is good to say that Marquez has broken the record of Stoner in 2008 with two-tenths of improvement.

Finally, Marquez has taken pole, followed by Pedrosa and Bradl running at home.
