Márquez continues dominating Britain

Marc Márquez is unstoppable and has been the fastest during the third free practice of MotoGP Grand Prix of Great Britain. Dovizioso was second and Pedrosa third.

The third free practice of MotoGP at Silverstone was initiated with cold and dry track. The Yamaha needed to improve their performance tires to pass the top10. Done getting momentarily Jorge Lorenzo, after 10 minute session. Rossi also entered this group, leaving out Dani Pedrosa who had to make a quick turn forced to enter the top10.

 

Midway through the session Espargaró was frustrated by staying temporarily out of Q2 despite the attempts of the catalan. Some attempts were useless sometimes with laps losing much time with the traffic on the track.

 

Meanwhile, Marquez further improved his time in the top of the table, being the first to lose the 2min 2 seconds. But when the rider came in further improving their times, suffered from a crash in the third sector.

 

Espargaró made an incredible lap put him in second place and left outside the top10 Scott Redding. Marquez came Dovizioso and Bradl improving his times significantly, but ultimately only Dovizioso improved his lap and stood second, third was Rossi. Espargaró absence of 2 minutes, managed to enter the top10 and left out of this group while Bradley Smith suffered a fall Stefan Bradl. Bautista entered the top10 Iannone leaving out, so did Smith Bautista before the checkered flag. Iannone made out to his teammate Hernandez.

 

Finally, Marquez, Dovizioso, Pedrosa, Rossi, Lorenzo, Pol Espargaró, Stefan Bradl, Bradley Smith, Andrea Iannone and Espargaró.
