Marc Marquez has started track testing on Ducati Panigale V4 after long lay-off from injury, as Fermin Aldeguer undergoes surgery.

After missing the last few MotoGP rounds in 2025, reigning champion Marquez has returned to track action aboard a Ducati Panigale V4 to shake-off the long lay-off away from any track running. The Spaniard is preparing himself for a comeback during the pre-season test.

Fermin Aldeguer –

Gresini Racing’s Fermin Aldeguer has suffered a major injury blow ahead of the new MotoGP season, with the Spaniard fracturing the shaft of his left femur after a training crash in Valencia. He did so last week and is now under rehab to recover for the pre-season test.

“The femur surgery was successfully completed for Fermin Aldeguer. Now it’s time to rest. We will provide more information in the coming days,” said Gresini. The 2025 Rookie of the Year now faces a race against time to reach full fitness for the opening Test of the year, which is scheduled for Sepang from February 3rd.
