There is no secreto n the fact that Honda is having a great preseason. Data is there and multiple problems, and their ups and downs, from Yamaha and Ducati are a real fact. It seems then, that everything is disposed for Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa to enjoy a great season with Repsol Honda Team once preseason test are done on the new season kick off at Losail on the Qatar GP.
With the changes at the top of the team, first of all with Alberto Puig replacing Livio Suppo as team principal and the additions of Tetsuhiro Kuwata as general director, Shinichi Kokubu as technical director and Shigehisa Fugita as administrative director, as the new working philosophy where this bosses assists live to the circuits, both riders are glad with the results that this philosophy brings.
“I’m happy on the way things are ongoing, but most of all, I’m happy with this working system. The method is good; from the headquarters arrives new pieces and that’s very important, we are happy”, tolds Márquez for Motorsport. “The headquarters is working really fast, the atmosphere it’s diferent.”
Pedrosa emphasize on his teammate words: “I’m very happy because I think that it is very positive. Our feelings are transmited directly and reaction times are fastest. When you look at their face you can understand better and faster and you also get a faster answer. It’s very positive how Honda is developing on testing and I think we all we are working very well, on the track and back in Japan.”
