Marcus Ericsson has confirmed that he will continue to be a driver for Andretti Global during the 2027 IndyCar season, behind the wheel of car number 28. Ericsson has four victories in his IndyCar career, all with Ganassi, including the seventeenth edition of the Indianapolis 500 in 2022. This season has been a significant step forward for him, positioning him ninth in the overall standings, after finishing the 2024 and 2025 seasons in the fifteenth and twentieth positions, respectively.
