Maiden pole for Kodric at Jerez

Ph Roberto Piccinini

Martin Kodric has achieve a maiden pole position in Formula Renault 2.0 Alps at Jerez de la Frontera. The Croatian will start ahead of Isaakyan and Barnicoat. Championship countenders, Aitken and Hughes will start from 10th and 19th.

A very strange qualyifying we lived today at Jerez. A red flag caused by the Fortec Motorsports of Stefan Riener stoped the session at half point of this, with any option to re-start this due to schedule issues.

This give to us a very strange results like the maiden pole for Kodric, the eight place for Alexey Korneev and ninth for Nikita Troitskiy. The tenth position for championship countender Jack Aitken, and the 19th place for Jake Hughes who need a great comeback today to win the championship.

We remember you that Hughes is 5 points in front of Aitken for today’s final race of Formula Renault 2.0 Alps at Jerez. The race will starta at 13.45.
