The Lionspeed GP achieved a spectacular victory in the second race of the Sprint Cup at Brands Hatch, thus recovering from the disappointment of the first event of the weekend.

In the first race, the #80 Porsche dominated from the pole position, but had to retire due to steering issues. In the second race, however, the car ran without problems, allowing Bastian Buus to start strongly and pass the baton to Ricardo Feller, who completed the victory from the start to the checkered flag.

The second place went to the #3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing, made up of Dani Juncadella and Chris Lulham, who crossed the finish line 3.073 seconds behind the winners. This team had also suffered disappointments in the first race, where they finished first but were penalized for a yellow flag infraction.

Winward Racing completed the podium with their #48 Mercedes-AMG, driven by Maro Engel and Lucas Auer. Engel made a quick start, moving from fourth to third place, and the team maintained their position until the end. Despite a five-second penalty for a pit infraction, they had enough margin over the fourth-placed car to secure third place.

The fourth place went to the #46 Team WRT BMW, followed by the #59 Garage 59 McLaren, which featured an enthusiastic exchange of positions between Marvin Kirchhöfer and Max Hesse. An exceptional pit stop of 39.4 seconds allowed Valentino Rossi to regain position ahead of Dean MacDonald.

After them, three BMWs from Team WRT filled the following places, with the #32 overtaking the #31 and #30. The latter took the victory in the Silver Cup thanks to the strong performance of Matisse Lismont and Ignacio Montenegro. The #14 Ferrari of Emil Frey Racing finished ninth, while the #555 McLaren of CSA Racing, driven by Simon Gachet and Romain Andriolo, completed the top 10 and secured the victory in the Gold Cup.

The coming months will focus on the Endurance Cup, with the first event in the Belgian Ardennes for the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa Prologue (May 19-20) and the second Endurance race in Monza (May 29-31). The major competition, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, will take place from June 24 to 28. The next round of the Sprint Cup will take place in Misano from July 17 to 19.
