Lewis Wherrell has secured his first pole position in British Formula 4 during the qualifying session held at Snetterton, achieving the extraordinary time of 1m48.841s, surpassing the second-best time by just 0.047 seconds.
Wherrell took the lead on the timing sheets in the final laps, making an initial lap under one minute and 49 seconds. The drivers’ times continued to improve, but none could surpass the time set by the JHR Developments driver.

At the end of the session, Jungling had dropped to twelfth place, falling behind Cash Felber, who thus claimed pole for the reverse race.
