GP2 team Lazarus announced the signing of Nathanael Berthon. The Frenchman will take part in his third season in the series with the Italian team.
Berthon joined Trident last year and got his first GP2 win in the sprint race in Hungary, after finishing eighth in the feature race. He didn’t score more points and finished 20th in the standings. In 2012, he raced with Racing Engineering, scoring two second places and finishing 12th in the championship.
The Frenchman said: “I am very pleased to have the opportunity to remain in GP2 with Lazarus. This season will be crucial for me and the team. We share the same objective: we will give our 100% to become a top team and fight every race for a podium”.
