The British driver, a declared fan of the new motorcycle champion, made these statements during his appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
At an event sponsored by Monster Energy, Norris and Rossi coincided in talking about the possibility of competing together in the classic French endurance race. When asked if he would be willing to share a car with his childhood idol, Norris responded with a resounding enthusiasm: ‘Of course!’ Rossi, with his usual irony, added: ‘I tried to ask him, but Formula 1 drivers are very busy right now.’
During the event, Norris had the opportunity to showcase his driving skills with several vehicles, including the new McLaren MCL-HY, a hypercar that the British brand is developing for its return to the World Endurance Championship and Le Mans in 2027.
