Kvyat chose number 7, like Raikkönen

The 2014 rookie season with Toro Rosso, Daniil Kvyat, choose his number to race next year.

The 19-years-old, recently GP3 Series champion this 2013 and vice-champion in Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 in 2012, choose as a first option for 2014 the number 7.

But number 7 was chosen by Kimi Raikkonen and, following the numbers Regulation, the Finn driver is mandatory to have this number because he finished on P5 in Driver’s Championship, and Kvyat not run in 2013.

That is it what happen in Bianchi case. The Frenchman chose as a first option the number 7, but for the same reason (Bianchi finished at 19th in the driver’s standings), may be sure that he will race with number 27, a historical number in Ferrari squad who “has forced” him to choose this as a second option, because his third option is number 77 and this it will take Valteri Bottas for the same reason like Raikkönen.

Anyway, Kvyat will race with number 26, because is his second option, and anyone want race right now with this number.
