Marvin Kirchhöfer claim his first pole position of the season in the third classification session of GP3 Series in Silverstone. The German dominates the session under the attacks of local British drivers.
The favorite to win the 2015 GP3 Series championship, Marvin Kirchhofer, has taken the pole position in the England soil. The German led the early minutes before the Koiranen GP’s showed his strong pace this weekend.
But at half of the session was the championship point’s leader, Luca Ghiotto who led the way before the final tyres changes.
In the final minutes, the battle for the pole position was a wheel-to-wheel fight between Kirchhofer and Bernstorff. The ART Grand Prix driver managed to improve the lap at the final minutes, his lap time to set the pole position.
Palou completes the top 3 ahead of Parry, Eriksson, Ghiotto, Fong, Ocon, Gilbert and Ceccon at top 10.
