Jordan King wins a race disturbed by late rain at Silverstone ahead of Luca Ghiotto and Oliver Rowland.

Jordan King started from reverse pole ahead of Norman Nato and Nobuharu Matsushita. Matsuhita started well, taking P2 from Nato while Pierre Gasly lost four places in the first lap. On the second lap, Sergey Sirotkin spun after a contact with Artem Markelov and suffered from a puncture.

Nato lost two places halfway through the race, clearly lacking of pace. Luca Ghiotto meanwhile, was on fire and overtook Matsushita before chasing King for the lead. In the last laps, Evans lost two places to Marciello and Gasly when rain started falling on the circuit . Nato spun in the first corner and went again in penultimate position.

In a last lap very complicated for all the drivers, Jordan King won the race from Luca Ghiotto and Oliver Rowland. Giovinazzi, Matsushita, Marciello, Gasly, Kircchofer, Canamasas and Latifi completed the top 10.

Oliver Rowland takes the lead of the championship with 79 points, Antonio Giovinazzi is second with 78 points and Pierre Gasly is third with 74 points.
