King returns to Carlin as we said

As what said FormulaRapida.net 2 months ago, the British F3 champion Jordan King will return to Carlin for the 2014 FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The 19-year-old racer finished top rookie in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship after taking sixth in the overall driver standings last season.

King dovetailed his British F3 campaign with a full season in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, putting in an impressive performance in his rookie season in Europe to take two podiums and one fastest lap. King topped off a strong 2013 with a stellar performance at the Macau Grand Prix in November, finishing fifth as the top rookie and also claiming the fastest lap on his first visit to the challenging street circuit.

The Briton, who is a member of the MSA Team UK and a BRDC Superstar, was champion in the MRF Challenge in 2011/2012, vice champion in 2012/2013 and raced in the Formula Renault 2.0 Euro championship prior to Formula 3. The young-gun was also previously a race winner in the Toyota Racing Series in 2012.

Speaking about the season ahead, King says, “I’m very happy to be working with Carlin again this season and building on the momentum we gathered towards the end of 2013. I learnt a lot last year and using that experience together with the work we have done over the winter puts us in good shape for the season ahead. I can’t wait to get back on track again and get the season underway.”

Trevor Carlin adds, “Jordan surprised many last year with his form and pace. He worked hard throughout the season and took on board all the advice that was given to him to put himself in a position to challenge for race wins at the end of the year. We’re delighted that Jordan will be with the team again in 2014 and will be pushing hard to help him to the very front of the field.”
