Just in time for the start of the 2013 season, DTM announces the cooperation with an additional series partner. kfzteile24 as well as DTM rights holder and promoter ITR e.V. signed a partnership deal. Thanks to this deal, the Berlin based, multi-award winning online car spare-part and accessory business will become official series partner of DTM. For the time being, the contract duration amounts to three years.
This cooperation with the most popular international touring-car series means that kfzteile24 increases its sponsoring involvement in the sports area. From the beginning of the 2013 season, the company will be represented in DTM with circuit and perimeter advertising.
“We are looking forward to a successful cooperation with kfzteile24,“ said Walter Mertes, ITR board member for marketing and sponsoring. “The shared enthusiasm for cars represents the optimum basis for a long-term partnership. This deal once again demonstrates the attractiveness of the DTM platform for many companies. That’s something we may be really proud of.“
“The partnership with DTM represents a very special step for us,“ said Matthias Kieper, Managing Director and co-owner of kfzteile24. “We worked hard to become a leading full-range retailer on the free spare-part market. I’m delighted with the fact that our efforts in the past years resulted in this cooperation.“
The 2013 DTM season will begin on 5th May with the first race at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg. Altogether, the calendar comprises 10 races, six of them held at German circuits and the other four abroad. One of the abroad races, the round staged on 4th August by the Moscow raceway, represents a debut. Just as the season kick-off, the season finale also will be contested at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg – on 20th October. And from 9th to 12th April, Hockenheim also will be the venue of the final official ITR pre-season tests.
