The Oreca #47 of KCMG team, after take an amazing pole position on LMP2 for the 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas, they has been disqualify.
Great and heroic deed for KCMG who started the qualifying session causing a Red flag. But they managed to back to the track and set the pole position.
But, when they caused the red flag, Matthew Howson who was driving in the car, he tried to back in the garage in a retract way.
That’s why the FIA WEC organization disqualify them, and let to the Ligier #26 of Sam Bird, take the pole position for today’s race that will start at 12 p.m. of central European time.
