Justin Allgaier secured the victory this Saturday at the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race held in Darlington. This triumph marks his second of the 2026 season and the 30th of his career.
Despite Kyle Larson dominating much of the competition, a slow pit stop thwarted his victory chances. Allgaier thanked his team for their dedication and the job well done on the track.
The drivers who completed the podium were Brandon Jones in second place and Christopher Bell in third. Larson, who had led 107 laps of the total 147, finished in fourth position, followed by Carson Kvapil.
The race was divided into three stages, with Larson winning the first two. In the first stage, he maintained a clear lead over Bell, while in the second he extended his distance ahead of Kvapil and Jones. Additionally, other incidents marked the event, including a couple of unscheduled stops.
In the third stage, Allgaier was able to take advantage of a timely restart to gain the lead after Larson’s unfortunate pit stop. With an intense and competitive race, Allgaier demonstrated his determination and skill to hold off for the last laps, consolidating his victory at the Darlington track.
