Jari-Matti Latvala, one of the most recognized rally drivers in the world, will make his first appearance at the American Rally Association National Championship at the Olympus Rally next April. Latvala, who is currently the head of the Toyota World Rally Championship team, will drive a Toyota GR Corolla Rally RC2 in this event to be held from April 17 to 19 in Washington.

This will be Latvala’s first time competing in a rally in North America. In this edition of the Olympus Rally, Toyota will present two of its new GR Corolla Rally RC2 machines, with Latvala joining team Toyota driver Seth Quintero.

Quintero has already debuted with the Corolla at the 100 Acre Wood Rally earlier in March, as part of a program that includes seven rounds of the ARA. “I am very excited to announce that I will be driving in the American Rally Championship at the Olympus Rally with the GR Corolla RC2, alongside Seth Quintero in the second car,” Latvala commented. “It will be my first competition in America, and I am eager to experience the stages and the atmosphere of the country.”

Additionally, although this will be his first experience with the new GR Corolla, Latvala has been involved in its development. Currently, he combines his role as team leader in the WRC with competing in the FIA European Historic Rally Championship, driving a renovated Toyota Celica Turbo 4WD (ST185).

Latvala has made a good start to the season, defending the EHRC title he won in 2025 with a series of five victories, including a recent one at the Rally Costa Brava in Spain.
