The LN4 Fusion team, led by Lando Norris, has confirmed the signing of James Egozi, Eurocup-3 champion, for the FIA Formula 3 championship of 2027. At just 18 years old, Egozi becomes the first signing for the team since its launch in early September.
Egozi’s season in Eurocup-3 has been spectacular, clinching the title with two races still to go. Behind the wheel of the Palou Motorsport car, the team under the leadership of five-time IndyCar champion Alex Palou, Egozi has amassed a total of eight wins and four podiums in fifteen races.
His single-seater career began in Formula 4, driving for PHM in Italy and the Central European Zone, where he achieved two victories. Later, Egozi was recruited by Red Bull’s young driver program to compete in F4 Spain with Campos Racing, but left the program at the end of the year.
In 2025, Egozi joined Palou’s team to participate in the Eurocup Winter Series, where he finished third with two wins, and in the main competition, where he was ninth after missing the last race, achieving five top fives and a win in Portimão. He also showcased his potential in two European Regional Formula competitions, in addition to finishing in 14th place at the Macau Grand Prix.
