Matevos Isaakyan took his maiden pole position in Formula V8 3.5 for Red Bull Ring Race 2 of the series. The Russian beat the yesterday pole sitter Louis Delétraz and the yesterday winner, Matthieu Vaxivière.
In the second qualifying of Formula V8 3.5 at Red Bull Ring, the rookie Mateveos Isaakyan (SMP Racing) took the pole position by 0.09 seconds over yesterday pole sitter, Louis Delétraz (Fortec Motorsports).
Both rookies will start ahead the yesterday race winner, Matthieu Vaxivière (SMP Racing) – who is the favorite to win today as well. Behind the Frenchman finished the championship leader, Tom Dillmann (AVF).
In fifth position finished Roy Nissany (Lotus) ahead of Aurélien Panis (Arden Motorsport), Alfonso Celis (AVF) and Egor Orudzhev (Arden Motorsport).
Completes the top 10 Pietro Fittipaldi (Fortec Motorsports) and Rene Binder (Lotus).
