Ilott goes fastest while the rain hits the Masters

Callum Ilott has been fastest once again at the second free practice session of the F3 Masters of Zandvoort.

Knowing it would rain sooner or later, all drivers bolted out to the track. Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) was fastest with 1:32.082, a time set in the first half of the session when the track was still dry. The drivers were able to test the Kumho rain tyres for the rest of the session.

After Ilott, only 0.030 behind, was Nico Kari. Sergio Sette Camara confirms the good pace of the Motopark with 3rd. The top 10 was completed by Anthoine Hubert (Van Amersfoort Racing), Guanyu Zhou (Motopark), David Beckmann (kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport), Alex Albon (Hitech GP), Pedro Piquet (Van Amersfoort Racing), Lorandi and Sam MacLeod (Fortec Motorsports). The rain only caused one red flag due to a run-off by Alessio Lorandi (Carlin).

The qualifying session for Race 1 of the prestigious Masters of Zandvoort will take place tomorrow.
