Matthieu Vaxivière and Marcos Siebert were penalized by 10 seconds by the race direction after the finish-line for not slowing down during the VSC (Virtual Safety Car) period. Initially, they had to handed a drive through penalty but it finally could not be served so the stewards decided to add 20 seconds penalties to their race time.
Vaxivière who finished 11th on track was demoted to 12th position. Siebert finished the race P8 will finally be classified P12.
