Lando Norris led the way in disrupted FP2 in F1 Hungarian GP, with Max Verstappen n and Carlos Sainz third.

There was disruption in FP2 of F1 Hungarian GP at Hungaroring when Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc crashed out at Turn 4. There was a little longer red flag to repair the barrier after the Monegasque spun around after riding over the kerb.

He hit the armco barrier but interestingly the car wasn’t too damaged. Post the red flag period, Stake F1 Team’s Zhou Guanyu too had a moment in the same corner but managed to save it, sacring Red Bull’s Sergio Perez in the process.

As Guanyu spun through, he almost hit the back of Perez, who had to take evasive action. It was McLaren’s Lando Norris (1m17.788s) on top in the end in FP2 of F1 Hungarian GP ahead of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen (1m18.031s) and Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz (1m18.185s).

It was Perez fourth from the first Mercedes of George Russell in fifth, with teammate Lewis Hamilton seventh behind Haas’ Kevin Magnussen, who had a sound session. Visa Cash App RB’s Daniel Ricciardo was eighth from Williams’ Alexander Albon.

The Top 10 was rounded out by Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso, with Stake F1 Team’s Valtteri Bottas 11th to make it nine different teams in the Top 11. Williams’ Logan Sargeant was 12th from McLaren’s Oscar Piastri, who suffered floor damage after wide moment.

His teammate Norris too ran wide and also had a moment at the pit entry, while Sainz too had a gravel moment. The team to miss out in the Top 111 situation was Alpine whose lead was Esteban Ocon in 14th, with his teammate Pierre Gasly in 16th.

He slotted behind Haas’ Nico Hulkenberg, who was 15th. Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll was 17th from Leclerc, who still managed to stay ahead of Visa Cash App RB’s Yuki Tsunoda and Guanyu, where the Japanese driver did not enjoy the session.
