Anthoine Hubert has managed to control everything in his native country. The Frenchman has achieved two wins at Pau street circuit in Formula Renault 2.0 Alps. He is joined on the podium by Jake Hughes and Matthieu Vaxivière.
Hubert who began from the preferred position has taken advantage of opportunities for overtaking offered by the urban layout of Pau to dominate the race to the end and finishing two seconds ahead of Jake Hughes who has had to endure attacks from Matthieu Vaixivière during the entire race.
The race though has been very uneven, but the safety car has only appeared once, when Ben Barnicoat and Matevos Isaakyan impacted each other in the first lap.
