Christian Horner has found himself in hot waters as Red Bull opens up investigation against the F1 team boss due to allegations of misbehaviour.
Long-time Red Bull team boss Horner has found himself in hot waters after the parent company has opened up an investigation against him. The news broke in the Dutch media, which noted about the Brit being guilty of inappropriate behavior.
It was against one particular team member of Red Bull Racing, where the company knows about it and boss Oliver Mintzlaff taking the matter seriously. It is not clear what kind of misbehaviour has Horner been alleged with, as the investigation goes on.
While Red Bull Racing hasn’t released any comment regarding the case, but parent company Red Bull GmbH did so to several media including Dutch publication De Telegraaf, who broke the news initially about such investigation.
“After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation,” it said. “This process, which is already underway, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible.
“It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.” Their report included a response from Horner too, which denied any such thing. “I completely deny these claims,” he was quoted as by the Dutch publication.
