Formula 3 team, Hitech Grand Prix will return to competition in the next round of the calendar in the Algarve circuit, which will take one car driven by Alexander Sims.

Hitech Grand Prix return next September to play a weekend of racing in the European Formula 3. It will do so in the Portuguese Algarve circuit, which will take one car for Alexander Sims, who will drive a Dallara-Mercedes BMW-GT. So, Sims also will leave the competition after the 2013 Macao Grand Prix, where he made his last appearance in the championship.

The Hitech team will participate in this round only because they are enrolled in the 2016 championship where they will both cars, and thus will not earn points for this 2015. General now are testing the new car in several rounds of testing circuits as Pembrey, Misano, Cheste and recently with the same Hungaroring Sims. Now, the project will live ammunition to see the performance in official race.

Recall that Hitech started in Formula 3 championship in 2003 with David European Hayle command, the same that is leading this new project of return. That Hitech Racing last decade stopped competing in 2007, when he left the reins to Walter Grubmuller, who finished completely abandoning the team in 2011. Now, Hayle wants to resurrect a small team based in Silverstone, and two cars that want to put on track starting next year.
