Victory at the Silverstone circuit in the first race of the GP3 for Jack Harvey, who started from the second position, and thanks to a good start he was able to win. Second finished Kevin Korjus who started first.

At the start, the author of the pole position Kevin Korjus (KoiranenGP), fell to third place and Harvey got to the front followed by his teammate of ART Grand Prix, Conor Daly, who had jumped out the start exactly like Fumanelli (Trident Racing) and Mckee (Bamboo Engineering), whoh were then penalised. Fourth his other teammate Facu Regalia. Carlos Sainz Jr. made a really bad start and fell to ninth.
But on the fourth lap of the race appeared the safety car due to an accident between Davide Fumanelli (Trident Racing) and Patrick Kujala (Koiranen GP) where the Finn, while trying to pass the Italian, put the wheel against that of the Koiranen GP car, but it was already too close, so they impacted each other, and the Finn’s car went completely upside down and slammed into the barriers. However, both drivers were able to leave on their own feet. The Saftey Car remained on track for 6 laps.
Finally, the victorious man was followed by Korjus, Harvey, Regalia, Kvyat (MW Arden), Ellinas (Marussia Manor Racing), Yelloly (Carlin), Fontana (Jenzer Motorsport), Venturini (Trident), Fong (Status GP first season rate ), and Zamparelli (Marussia Manor Racing).
