Lewis Hamilton, seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, has once again captivated attention at the Monaco Grand Prix, making a spectacular entry aboard a Ducati Panigale V4 S 100, a limited edition motorcycle.
Arriving for the media day in Monte Carlo, the British driver made his appearance with a Ducati that celebrates the centenary of the Italian brand. Only 100 units of this model have been manufactured, making it one of the most sought-after motorcycles in the world.
The Panigale V4 S 100 stands out for its silver paint, an innovation that distinguishes this model from the typical red colors of Ducati. The design includes references to the 750 Imola Desmo motorcycle and also displays Hamilton’s race number, 44, on the front of the motorcycle.
The reaction from fans has been immediate, with enthusiastic comments on social media. One fan expressed: “It looks amazing” while others highlighted the originality of seeing Hamilton’s number 44 on such an iconic motorcycle, with comments like: “Feeling like a fever dream and I love it”.
With a 1103cc V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine, the Panigale V4 S 100 will produce 216 hp at 13,500 rpm and 120.9 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm. Although Ducati has not confirmed the price, it is expected to exceed £60,000.
Hamilton arrives in Monaco following his best performance as a Ferrari driver, with a second place in Canada, and currently holds fourth place in the championship standings with 72 points. The leader is Kimi Antonelli with 131 points, followed by George Russell with 88 and Charles Leclerc with 75 points.
The Monaco Grand Prix is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, controlling one of the most anticipated races of the season.
