Jamie Green set the pole position for DTM Sunday’s race at Zandvoort, Holland. The Audi driver finished ahead of Mercedes top drivers, Gary Paffet and Christian Vietoris.
The qualifying session started with a run off for Daniel Juncadella (Mercedes) who caused a red flag.
At the restart, Maximilian Götz (Mercedes) also went off but he managed to get back in the pits. Meanwhile, Christian Vietoris (Mercedes) was leading in front of Martin Tomczky (BMW) and Tom Blomqvist (BMW).
Yesterday’s race winner, Robert Wickens (Mercedes) also went off but it didn’t affect his qualifying run.
In the final stint, Timo Glock (BMW) was the first to beat Vietoris time. But it was Jamie Green who set the fastest lap in front of Gary Paffet and Christian Vietoris.
