Following today’s qualifying session at Marina Bay, Singapore, both Johnny Cecotto and Julian Leal were penalised.
The Stewards found that the Arden driver had impeded Sam Bird while approaching Turn16, and that the Racing Engineering man had impeded Cecotto approaching Turn 6.
Both drivers have been dropped three grid positions on tomorrow’s feature race starting grid. Leal will start from 14th place and Cecotto from 16th place.
