Gonda sets best time

Richard Gonda takes the best timelap in Barcelona for the first session of GP3 of the year, driving his Jenzer Motorsport. He is ahead of his teammate Akash Nandy for 170 thousandths.


Young drivers of GP3 series have been the last ones to go on track today at Barcelona.

Unlike other categories, GP3 had to race under changing conditions and a bit of rain. Only five drivers have been able to set a fast time in the first thirty minutes of the session. Santino Ferrucci, developpment driver of Haas F1, has been the first one to get under 1:38 before being topped off by Nirei Fukuzumi.
By the end of the session, Richard Gonda was the fastest ahead of Nandy, Nyck De Vries, Charles Leclerc and Konstantin Tereschenko.
