FP1. Vautier P1 in the first sesion

After the first exciting race of the season this time IZOD Indycar family moves to Birmingham, Alabama. 90 laps at Barber Motorsport Park Circuit, 2.4 mi and 16 turns clockwise. AJ Allmendinger is again in Indycar news in this circuit, he come back to the series after his NASCAR seasons, now there are 26 drivers racing. Indycar open wheeler this season has improved 2,5 s comparing last year so it will be difficult to readapt

This morning was 14ºC cloudy in the circuit, it is expected higher temperature next days during weekend for qualyfing and race, this will be the day colder than all weekend. Last days was bad weather and colder temperatures this  made that grip was low. After instalation laps action has started in the circuit. It has been two tactics during this first moments: testing the car during all the sesion or waiting for the better grip at the end of the sesion with more rubber in the track and with more temperature.

Rokkie´s Tristan Vautier is expected to be very fast during this weekend and after the half of the sesion was the P1 (he was last Indy Lights champion. Only driver could follow the rythm was Scott Dixon. 20 minutes before the end clasification was like this Vautier, Dixon, Powell, Franchitti and Silvestro. By the moment Honda is getting better results than Chevrolet. We will see next sesions

8 minutes before end of sesion a red flag appeared, Vautier spun in 2nd turn and get trapped in the gravel. After this problem sesion hasn´t started again so finally FP1 result was
