The track layout of the Canadian EPrix is revealed by Formula E as organisers details on the E-Fest they will have in Vancouver.
The Vancouver E-Prix is scheduled for Saturday, July 2, 2022, on a track that will see the only FIA certified all-electric World Championship race in front the Rogers Arena in Vancouver’s False Creek neighbourhood subject to FIA homologation and will be sanctioned by ASN Canada.
More than just a race weekend, the event will see performances from superstar musicians round-off a spectacular three days in Vancouver, British Colombia. Other scheduled events include a conference on climate change and sustainability featuring soon-to-be-announced speakers, a paddock tour for local residents, and a fitness challenge on the False Creek race circuit, which includes the newly-named City Gate Straight.
Alberto Longo, Co-Founder and Chief Championship Officer of Formula E, said: “The Canadian E-Fest will be an exciting, dynamic, innovative sports and entertainment event that drives the promotion of electric mobility and the fight against climate change in Canada and around the world. Working with our local partners, we are excited to bring the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship to the streets of Vancouver in 2022 and showcase the latest innovations in sustainable technology.”

We look forward to OSS working with our teams and the local community in delivering an ‘electric’ event experience for Canada Day 2022. The event is a natural fit for Vancouver with themes of sustainability and promotion of a green economy and we are proud to be the host destination. As we rebuild our local visitor economy, the return of festival and events is a crucial part of restoring vibrancy to our city and bringing visitors back to Vancouver to support our many tourism-related businesses.”
OSS Group President, Matthew Carter, said: “I’m excited to show you where the fun and all the action will be happening. This is a well thought out site map created by the renowned site design aficionado, Phillip Smirnow, an OSS partner.”
