Emerson Fittipaldi Jr is the first confirmed FIA F2 driver for 2026 season, as he signs with AIX Racing, to jump from Eurocup 3.
AIX Racing is happy to announce that Emerson Fittipaldi Jr. will be the first FIA Formula 2 driver for the 2026 season. Emerson Fittipaldi Jr, the son of two-time Formula 1 world champion Emerson Fittipaldi, is currently competing in the Eurocup-3 Championship.
Emerson Fittipaldi Jr.: “I am very much looking forward to this opportunity. Racing in the FIA Formula 2 is going to be a big learning curve for me. I will be competing against the best drivers in the world, so it will be an honour to be racing against all of them on the race track. My expectations are, that I will be learning a lot, every single day and every single week.”
